Where can I find more info about Matthew Annis?

The late son of BJ Annis and Georgia (Hart) Annis. He was also the brother of pro wrestler Teddy Hart and the grandson of Stu and Helen Hart. All I know is that he died in 1996, aged 13, from a flesh eating disease.

Should I contact the archives to remind them about my request?

I emailed a church archives in Canada to inquire about requesting a marriage record. The archivist responded the same day, saying that she had located the record and would mail it to me as soon I sent a check, which I sent that day. This was back in February. In June, I gave them a call to make sure my check hadn't been lost in the mail; she said it was there, and that she'd mail the record shortly. It's now been 6 months and still nothing. Should I contact them again, or will that just make them mad? I realize they have other things to do besides helping genealogists, but since she had so quickly "located the record", why is it taking 6+ months to put it in an envelope and mail it?

Question: What do I REALLY have in common with my Great-Great-Grandfather?

Have no idea where you are studying DNA, one half of DNA comes from each parent. IT is not that DNA is cut in half 1/2 of all DNA is passed and siblings may not have the exact same DNA, also remember each generations introduces additional DNA from other sources.

GGGF represented by A, B, C and D from both parents
GGF received B and D from father and received O and Y from Mother
GF received B and D and O from Parents
F received B, D , O
YOU receive D and from you mother G, H and J

DNA has very little to do with Genealogy, as it is the study and documentation of a specific direct ancestral lineage within a biological Family.

www.google.com is a good place to start. It's a search engine. I found this, about a 13-year old grandson of a famous wrestler who died recently.
