Question: Is it true that art is an expression of your emotions?

Posted: 11 Sep 2014 09:41 AM PDT

Not really,
Well, maybe,
But it has to,
Oh, stop that!,
Get out of my mind ...!splat! Splat..., splat!

The art piece may be irrelevant to your emotions at the time, you would not start a painting of a happy tree, then take break, get angry at something else, then change art piece to match mood, bad tree, angry tree,
Thus you emotions are within context of self, and stability of that mood is needed to maintain inspirations,
It may be that your affections do play apart in that art piece at beginning, and that movement or flow in passion is these emotional outpouring onto the canvas that find or seek in colourful equity

Dipped incense cones, is it the exact same as the sticks?

I've made hand dipped incense sticks before with the 1 part fragrances oils and 2 parts DPG, soak them for 1 day then let dry for 2 days. Now I'm trying Cones the same way but are the soaking and drying times different?
