Question: I want to march in DCI as contra..? Posted: 13 Aug 2014 08:42 PM PDT I want to march in DCI as contra..? I play the sousaphone in our high school band. I'm 5'6" and a 110 pound girl. Is there a way I can prepare physically?
Posted: 13 Aug 2014 06:46 PM PDT I don't really understand what you're asking for. Do you mean a certain current stage production? Or all the people that have played the Phantom on stage? Film? Here's a long list that played the Phantom in film, but I'm not sure if it's complete: http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0027299/... Norm Lewis currently plays the Phantom in New York. In London, Michael Crawford originally played the Phantom, but the role is currently played by Geronimo Rauch. There are TONS more.
Question: Question for drummers? Posted: 13 Aug 2014 06:14 PM PDT Question for drummers? Im still a beginner in drums. My question is simple. I often see drummers in concerts or performances, most of the time, they have laptops beside them, just at the left side of their kit where they can easily reach it. What is the use of the laptop? My first guess is that its used for modifying the sound and effect of the drums. Though i aint sure

Question: Can you work out what note would be right to play while listening to a song? Posted: 13 Aug 2014 06:04 PM PDT Yes. The notes that sound right are: the same note as the one being played The same note but an octave higher or lower Notes that are part of the scale the song is using Also, if there's a guitar player, the bassist can play what's called an "arpeggio" which is each note of the chord played one at a time instead of all at once. I play a bit of bass and have done some research on this stuff.
