Question: Is it normal to fake emotions? Posted: 03 Sep 2014 07:03 AM PDT It is average, common and, I suppose, yes. It's "normal". I would not call it "natural", but from the perspective of most, it would not be inaccurate to call it "normal". And it's not new. Not even close. It came with language and lies.
Question: Life: What are the most valuable things everyone should know? Posted: 03 Sep 2014 05:50 AM PDT Your spiritual life is the most important, this is intertwined with how you love yourself and others, starting with being patient, not easily angered. Then there are practical things, being tough minded, taking responsibility, learning to swim, navigate, read and write well, critical thinking, having a sense of humor, learn to laugh at yourself first, worry less about what others think, relationships are more important than things, respecting each other, giving back, everyone is your brother and sister, we are all connected, everyone gets to have an opinion, including you.
Question: From your point of view what is wrong with the world? Posted: 03 Sep 2014 04:02 AM PDT ANOTHER new answer... Apparently you didn't like that one either. How about this one... Whatever it is that you are calling "the world", is nothing less than reality - and what you are saying is that reality is "wrong" - i.e. what you call "the world" is truth - and you're saying truth is "wrong". Do you see? Every single belief, that every single person has, that they believe is "right" - WITH regard to the "wrongness" of "the world" - is 100% pure fiction. It's purely subjective. It's not real - "the world" is real. What YOU want is not. It's not the truth - "the world" is truth. What YOU want is a lie - a fiction. What you want is, basically...a unicorn. You're whining and crying because you don't have a "unicorn" - and you believe you're perfectly justified in your whining and crying about the absence of this - and you're mad because I don't believe in this unicorn you don't have. OK, wait...I guess it makes sense, in a way, that you might have SOME kind of nagging suspicion that there's something "wrong". After all, you're living inside a huge, dramatic, world-wide, disorganized, willy-nilly unicorn hunt. I think I get it. I still don't think it's WRONG, but I think I have a better understanding of your discontent. Thanks!
Question: What is the most important lesson you ever learned in your life? Posted: 02 Sep 2014 10:58 PM PDT That at the end of it, all that has happened and all that will happen has no meaning. What we do does effect people yes , but it does not stop the World turning or the sun rising. We are so insignificant , yet so brilliant. Amaze yourself with every tree, every breath you take, every drop of rain you feel. Take in the World every day as if you have never seen it before. Marvel at how we ever came to be , to have fingers and toes. To have feelings. Then at the end we can pass on with a smile that we stopped and looked and cared, and loved, and laughed and cried, and were..just us.
Question: Is this a paradigm and is this a good example? Posted: 02 Sep 2014 10:18 PM PDT Yes, that's a paradigm. A paradigm is a "world view," a way of bringing together facts to create a subjectively harmonized view of what is important, and how everything links together. And the idea that everything is about money in one way or another is a way of doing that. So, yes, you're on track.
