Question: Barnes and noble?

Sorry, but if you never heard anything back, they will have shredded it many years ago.
No-one publishes just one poem.

Sorry, but this is not even worth thinking about.

Question: Good books for a 16 year old girl?

Posted: 01 Sep 2014 04:45 AM PDT

Some of my favourite books include:
The Kiterunner
A Thousand Splendid Suns
The Book Thief
Pride and Prejudice (I have read the rest of Jane Austen's books, btw) :)
Jane Eyre
The Little Princess
The Fault in Our Stars (I grimaced a little while typing that. All the silly fan-girls irritate me, but it truly is a good book, haha)
The Bell Jar
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
Harry Potter series (Never gets old)
The Hobbit
...and I'm currently reading (and enjoying) the Game of Thrones series :)

I've read Twilight and The Hunger Games, but thought they were kinda over-rated tbh. :p

Suggestions, pleeeeeaaaase :D I'll read anything from teen romances to fantasy to classics, as long as it's GOOD.

Question: Help Finding a Story?

Posted: 01 Sep 2014 04:39 AM PDT

I read a book, years and years and years ago, and I want to find it again, mainly for my little nephew, who'd love it.
It was a story about a giant, who fell asleep one day and the world sort of grew over him, like his skin grew grass and his beard grew trees, and this village was built next to him, because they all thought he was a mountain or something.
One day, this little girl manages to wake him up and they make friends and it's got that nice happy ending.

I really would love it if someone could help me with the title of the book - I've done google searches but it's just come up with Tolkien's stuff.

Question: How high is dante alighieri when he wrote dante's inferno?

Posted: 01 Sep 2014 04:28 AM PDT

The book is simply: "L'Inferno" ... And Dante was trying to imagine a place where "the punishment would fit the crime". - He had his own sense of justice and his own concept of what constituted a "punishable" offence ... A note: in Dante's world, the lowest circle is the coldest (being furthest from God).
