Why aren't we building a fence on our northern border?

Question: I was just wondering whether or not American Indian ancestry can show up as South Asian or Siberian on DNA tests?

I was just wondering whether or not American Indian ancestry can show up as South Asian or Siberian on DNA tests?

I was born right outside of Chattanooga, TN and was always told by numerous members of my family that we are descendants of Tsalagi (Cherokee) people. I have found two potential ancestors living near where I was born (i.e. the names ARE the SAME names as my ancestors names, we're just trying to make sure that were dealing with the same people) on the 1835 Henderson Roll. Anyway, when running my DNA through GEDmatch I consistently show a 2% to a 2.37% Southeast Asian/Siberian component to my DNA and was wondering if American Indian can show up as such on DNA tests. Lastly, if any CNO or EBCI members are reading this, I want to stress that I am NOT nor will I ever "join" one of the fake Tsalagi "Tribes" and have no intentions of ever doing so. I am simply on a quest to find my ancestors and am coming up empty handed more times than not other than the info I stated above. For example, I have ancestors other than the ones that are supposedly on the Henderson Roll that lived across the state line in Northeast AL who I have pics of and names of, but they don't show up in any of the Federal Censuses that were taken during the early to mid 1800s.

Question: Help me find my dad please??????

buffalo ny: try to gather as much information as you can from your relatives in case they know more than they have already told you about him. use the free parts of the websites first. type in your search boxes at yahoo, linkedin, facebook, google, birthdatabase, white pages directory, and inmate search at bop.gov if you have a facebook page update your status with what you want so your friends can help you.
otherwise: you could do a $99 dna test with 23andme.com to genetically link you to your relatives if they have tested and approved the privacy of communicating the information.

He will only be found IF he is careless with his information or advertises himself as living people information/records are private.

Social media like FB, online directories and electoral roles will give limited information, if you want full details they are commercial businesses so you have to pay for it, people search websites, friends, family may have more information and even a tiny bit of info can help
