Question: Hey You Creative People - Good Title, Please? Posted: 02 Sep 2014 02:03 PM PDT Hey You Creative People - Good Title, Please? What's a good title for a project about a water crisis in Turkey? I want to do something creative, but I can't think of what I want it to say.
Question: Is there a software that can read me back the story I made in a different accent? Posted: 02 Sep 2014 10:39 AM PDT Is there a software that can read me back the story I made in a different accent? I've made a story and I would like it to be read back to me in a different accent. (the story takes place in a different country than mine, so I want it to sound like where its taken place). Or even a software that can just read the story out loud, kind of like a translator?

Question: If California has Hollywood, and India has Bollywood, why cant USA have one ? Posted: 02 Sep 2014 08:36 AM PDT Hollywood is a neighborhood of Los Angeles. There are two movie studios in Hollywood (most are not) but they fund productions that film and tape all over the country and even all over the world. There's currently more production going in in New York City than in L.A. So let's just call that NYCollywood and then you get your wish.* Yes, I get the point that you don't consider California to be part of the US. If this is true I wonder why I'm still writing a check to the IRS every quarter.
Question: What is philosophy art? Posted: 02 Sep 2014 12:12 AM PDT art, philosophy of, the study of the nature of art, including such concepts as interpretation, representation and expression, and form. It is closely related to aesthetics, the philosophical study of beauty and taste.
Question: Fabric/Sewing Problem? Posted: 01 Sep 2014 09:24 PM PDT That looks like an organza draped over the chair, and it's pretty easy (for a sheer) to work with. (Don't tackle chiffon till you've mastered organza and georgette.) I would not mix knits or stretch wovens with a non-stretch overlay-- I'd suggest something like a poly organza and a poly crepe or a silk organza and a silk suiting underneath. Cut both fabrics with a paper underlay to minimize fabric distortion. If you've got a serger, seam the organza with the roll hem foot (yes, for the side seams, etc., not just the hem). If you've only got a sewing machine, consider french seams. http://www.sewing.org/files/guidelines/1... Cutting with paper: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!search... PS: Cotton, wool, polyester, silk, acrylic, linen, etc. are fibers... they're spun into yarns and then woven or knit into fabrics. One fiber can make lots of different fabrics: for instance, silk organza, silk chiffon, habutai, noil, shantung, dupioni, and many many more.
